Wednesday’s Tango is a lively piece for solo cello featuring 2 distinct sections. Perfect as a chordal and pizzicato study, the A section (from the start until 41) should be played with energy and liveliness, whilst the B section (41 – 58) should have an underlying yearning feeling about it. The A section then returns in full, with a dramatic Coda that should be played with a sense of cheekiness.
