Dancing with Da was one of the first pieces I composed, written in 2015 after the death of Da, one of my first carers, and a person whom without I would not be here today. It is a simple piece, with statements of the two themes followed by a short development section, before returning at the end of the piece. Using simple syncopation and accompaniment techniques, this piece is ideal for beginner players.
